Cats TNR & Rescue was founded in 2012 because of homeless cats living at a local dump. They were surviving in a pile of old tires. The need to help these cats was the idea that ignited and became our rescue.
We work to help alleviate the stray and feral cat population by using a Trap, Neuter, Return program to reduce the serious cat overpopulation. A rehabilitate and adoption program is in place for sociable felines using a foster program.
Our rescue is strictly volunteer but governed by a board of directors. We operate with foster homes as we do not have a shelter. Foster homes are imperative for saving lives and we are always in need.
Fosters care for and socialize rescues while they receive veterinary care including shots, worming and mandatory spay or neuter.
We rely on fund raising and donations for our operating expenses such as veterinary bills, food and supplies for the care of our cats.
In November of 2013 we applied for and received our registered charity status. We can now provide tax receipts for donations.

One of our successes. From a pile of tires to a house of their own. The cats that started it all.
